Located just 1 hour from the legendary and lively Jemaa El Fna Square in Marrakech, is an entirely different Moroccan experience. Swap the heat and bustle of the city center for the peace and cool of the Moroccan skies as you head up towards the clouds in a hot-air balloon. After an early morning pick-up from your hotel, you will drive for approximately 45 minutes to the balloon launch site. Get a full pre-flight safety briefing, and watch as the launch team prepare the balloon for departure. Once in the air, you will fly between 9 and 15 miles (15-25 kilometers), depending on the wind speed, taking you over a local village and the picturesque palm groves and enjoy a beautiful sunrise. As the end of your 1-hour flight approaches, begin your gradual descent to the landing team. Back on the ground, you will be taken to a nearby village for a typical Berber breakfast with mint tea and home baked bread at a local Berber Tent, before your return to Marrakech.
