Ouarzazate is located between the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas mountain ranges. The waters of the High Atlas have formed a long oasis, the Drâa Valley, stretching from Ouarzazate to Mhamid. The Draa River flows south in an impressive gorge through the lush Draa Valley, lined with date palm groves and small gardens, and seeps into the Sahara. Morocco has long been a favorite of Hollywood and you will also have a chance to visit previous movie sets that are still standing. Ouarzazate has been featured in such films as Game of Thrones, Gladiator or Lawrence of Arabia. Ouarzazate is the starting point for our tours to the Erg Chigaga and Erg Chebbi desert areas.
